Crashes on Interstate 95 in Glynn County that blocked all northbound traffic Tuesday afternoon have resulted in two deaths, and Georgia highway officials say the highway may remain closed for hours.

A late morning accident just before the State Road 27 exit involved a tractor-trailer that caught fire and a car.

Authorities say I-95 northbound is closed from exit 22 to exit 42. Traffic is being diverted onto U.S. 17 through Brunswick, then back on I-95 at exit 40.
