A 34-year-old woman from Nebraska has died, and two have been injured following a two-car collision on Highway 5 near Plentywood, Montana. The accident occured on Tuesday, October 21 around 6:10 p.m. when the Nebraska woman and her male passenger, believed to be in his 30s, were driving east by mile marker 17. The woman braked suddenly, causing her vehicle to enter westbound traffic and collide with a 46-year-old man of Webster, North Dakota. The woman, who wore a seat belt, died at the scene.
