Wade Mathes, 39, was traveling on Highway 94 near Hinnah Lane when his vehicle left the roadway and overturned at about 1:00 a.m. Mathes was pronounced dead at the scene, and preliminary reports indicate that he was traveling too fast for weather conditions.

Christian Dertinger was driving on Ely Lake Drive when he lost control of his vehicle and collided head-on with a car traveling the opposite direction. Dertinger and the driver of the other vehicle, Megan Paul, both suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and authorities report that one of them was hospitalized. Icy road conditions are to blame for this accident.

Passenger killed, both drivers injured in car accident on the Heart of America Bridge in Kansas City, MO when an Impla entered the southbound lanes heading the wrong way and crashed into a Ford killing the Impala’s passenger, who was in the front seat, not wearing a seatbelt.  The drivers were transported to the hospital.

Ryan D. Parrett, 17, was driving a 1988 Chevrolet Truck westbound on Highway F at 10:48 p.m. when he failed to make a curve. His vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a sign and concrete culvert. The vehicle then struck a tree, causing the truck to overturn and strike a second tree. Parrett was pronounced dead at the scene.

One killed in single car accident on Highway F in St. Francois County, MO when the driver did not follow the curve in the road, left the pavement, struck a sign, a concrete culvert, and a small tree before rolling and hitting a second tree, and was partially ejected.

Charles G. Allen, 69, of Cairo, was killed Sunday in a two vehicle crash in Mississippi County in Missouri. Allen was pronounced dead at the scene. Agee suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

Authorities said a passenger in the car suffered critical injuries while the driver suffered serious injuries. Three people in the SUV had serious injuries, but they are expected to survive. The SUV driver was taken into custody on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Cook was pronounced dead at the scene, as was a 1-year-old baby in the other car, Parker L. Mantia. According to police, the driver of that vehicle, Corey Mantia, 22, and passenger Destiny D. Mantia, 21, sustained serious injuries and were taken to a hospital. Corey Mantia later died of his injuries.  A 'go fund me' account has been set up to pay for the Mantia family funerals.

Wheeler was thrown from the bike and taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center via helicopter with severe injuries.
