Donshey James was driving a stolen Pontiac Aztec when he crashed near the intersection of East 38th Street and North Sherman Drive while avoiding police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A car being pursued by Robeson County deputies crashed into a school bus, killing the four people in the car in Lumberton Monday morning at about 10:15 in the 2900 block of Wire Grass Road, south of Lumberton. No students were on the Fairmont High School bus. The people in the car were suspects in a breaking-and-entering case. We'll update this story as more information becomes available.

Ogden Police responded to a call near 2100 Ogden Ave. and approached a Volkswagen Passat but the driver fled. Officers pursued the vehicle until it ran a stop sign and hit another car. The driver, a 16-year-old male, attempted to flee the scene on foot but was taken into custody. A passenger in the Passat, an 18-year-old male, was also taken into custody. Both teens had pre-existing warrants out for their arrest. Neither teen has been identified yet.

A southeast Kansas teenager was killed after crashing a vehicle during a police chase. Four other teen passengers were injured when they were ejected from the car in the rollover crash that occurred just after 8 a.m. Monday near the town of Columbus while officers were chasing a car driven by 17-year-old Noah Kirsch, of Pittsburg. The driver lost control and the car went off the road and rolled over several times. His injured passengers were identified as two boys and two girls, all 15 and 16 years old and from Pittsburg. They were taken to hospitals in Pittsburg and Joplin, Missouri.

In the morning, a 15-year-old boy who ran a stop sign didn't stop for an officer, and instead led police on wild chase, damaging property such as fences and mailboxes along the way. Eventually the teen crashed into a tree and the vehicle caught fire, leaving the police who were chasing him to rescue him from the vehicle. As of now, the teen is still in the hospital, and charges against him are pending.

Authorities say the driver of a stolen car caused a deadly crash that killed a woman in East Point. Police say an officer was trying to stop a car that had been reported stolen Saturday and began pursuing the car after the driver refused to stop. The driver fled police and later hit a car carrying 29-year-old Tiffany Nicole Madison, who later died. Five people, including the person suspected of stealing the car, Quidarius Boddie, were hospitalized. Details on their conditions weren't immediately available.

Three teenagers died when a stolen car crashed into a tree and caught fire after a chase early Friday, authorities said. The names of those killed have not been released, but police say they were a girl and two boys, all 16 and all from Modesto. According to Modesto Police Sgt. David Chamberlain, a police officer in central Modesto tried to stop a car after seeing the driver violate a vehicle code at 11:40 p.m.

A Baton Rouge man was arrested Tuesday in Meraux after fleeing police in a stolen Cadillac and crashing the car into a house, according to the St. Bernard Sheriff's office. Michael Perriloux, 18, was spotted driving recklessly by a St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's deputy on E. Judge Perez Drive. Perriloux stopped the car in the 4500 block of E. Judge Perez Drive. But as the deputy was getting out his car, the Cadillac sped off.

A teenage driver is in custody after a chase and crash Monday afternoon. Cincinnati police being chasing a stolen sport utility vehicle near the Norwood Lateral shortly after 1 p.m. The chase was fairly low-speed, police said, rarely going over 40 mph. The chase ended when the SUV crashed on Paddock Road just north of the Lateral. The driver fled on foot but was arrested a short distance away, police said. The incident is still under investigation.
