Three people died and one was injured in a Mississippi County crash on Sunday morning on on Interstate 55. Elva Figurero, 46, Gabriel Figurero, 46, and Navor Medina, 36, were killed in the crash when the SUV they were riding in had a left rear tire blowout. The driver then over corrected, rolled over, and entered a ditch. Two people were pronounced deceased at the crash site, another died at a local hospital. The driver of the vehicle, Francisco Figurero, was taken to a Memphis hospital, and his condition is unknown at this time.

The vehicle was traveling north at about 11:40 p.m. on Congaree Road near Goodwin Road when it went left of center. Police report that the driver overcorrected, causing the car to overturn. The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was in the car. We'll update this story as more information becomes available.

At around 5:00am, Gerlach was driving on I-90 with Hedel-Ostrowski as a passenger when he began to drift into the left shoulder of the road. He then overcorrected, which caused the car to rollover two times, injuring both occupants in the process and sending them to the hospital.

Veronica Hayes was headed south on Blume Road at about 9:40 p.m. when her vehicle ran off the left side of the road, causing her to overcorrect and then run off the right side of the road. Her 1995 Pontiac Grand Am struck an embankment and overturned, ejecting the teenager, who was apparently not wearing a seat belt. Speed appears to have been a factor. Hayes was pronounced dead at the scene.

At around 12:00pm, investigators believe that a the female driver of a car also containing one other woman and one infant lost control and overcorrected, causing the vehicle to roll. The adult passenger was ejected from the vehicle and was flown to UMMC, while the driver was taken there by ambulance. A female infant was also brought to the hospital for observation, but was at least properly restrained during the crash.

The driver first overcorrected and departed the roadway which caused the car to roll and strike a utility pole. Both occupants of the car sustained life-threatening injuries and had to be airlifted to Toledo Hospital.

Joseph M.G. Kutyna, 28, of Monroe, injured in single-vehicle rollover crash in the 5700 block of County Road North in Washington, WI.   Kutyna was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected from and then pinned under his vehicle.  He was taken to UW Hospital for injuries.

Makayla Muir, 18, of Kimberly, drove Toyota off the right shoulder of exit 216 of Interstate 84 near Burley, ID.  Muir overcorrected and rolled the vehicle.  Muir and the front seat passenger Eduardo Encinas, 16, of Jerome, used their seat belts and were not hospitalized.  The four backseat passengers were not wearing seatbelts and were taken to Cassia Regional Medical Center in Burley.

Krystal Smith, 26, and Cory Sheppard, 4, of New Strawn, died in a car accident Tuesday evening just outside of Waverly, Kansas in Coffey County. A 9-year-old and a 6-year-old were also injured in the crash. The incident occured on Interstate 35 on October 14 when Smith drove into the median and overcorrected, causing her SUV to flip more than once.

Mark Foley, 62, was sent to Grace Cottage Hospital Sunday evening following a motorcycle crash on Route 100 in Wardsboro, Vermont. The incident occured just after 5:30 p.m.when Foley swerved off the road and into the soft shoulder, flipping his BMW motorcycle. Foley complained of hip pain at the scene, though the extent of his injuries is not yet released.
