Columbus, GAAn Opelika teenager died and three other people were injured in a car accident in Lee County Friday night. Brent Lowry, 16, was riding in the bed of a 1996 Chevrolet S-10 when the truck exited the road and overturned on Lee County Road 150. Lowry was pronounced dead at the scene. Brandon Scott Carr, 21, was driving the pick up. Carr and two other passengers were taken to the East Alabama Medical Center for treatment of their injuries. Columbus, GABrent Lowry was riding in the bed of a truck that was driving on Lee County Road 150 when the vehicle left the road and overturned. Lowry was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. Three other teens who were also riding in the truck were injured and transported to a local medical center for treatment.
