Denver, COBernadette Trujillo, 50, had a birthday Tuesday that she'll never forget. She was swept into the middle of a police chase and narrowly escaped injury.
Following a rush-hour chase and crash, Denver police Tuesday morning arrested three carjacking suspects who are also accused in a string of robberies and burglaries. Police are seeking two other suspects, spokesman Sonny Jackson said.
Trujillo drove to work in Denver and parked on Raritan Street, just off West Alameda Avenue, when she heard sirens screaming.
