Ft. Myers-Naples, FLAt around 7:30 a.m., one vehicle ran a stop sign and collided into a second vehicle. Both drivers sustained serious injuries. The driver of one of the vehicles, 20-year-old Brendan Younk, sustained life-threatening injuries and was hospitalized in critical condition. Investigators believe he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision. More information will be posted as it is released.

Friday, November 28, 2014Jordan Kuperus, 18, was driving south on 80th Avenue when he failed to stop at a stop sign at State Road and drove in front of a car operated by Roger Holman, 70. When the cars collided, the force of the collision caused Kuperus' seat belt to tear and we was ejected from the vehicle. Kuperus was treated for serious injures, while Holman was uninjured.

Philadelphia, PAOne woman was killed and two other people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash that happened around 1:15 a.m. Sunday along Pulaski Highway near Brookmont Drive, south of Newark. The driver of a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder was speeding and failed to stop for a red light, and struck a 2013 Nissan Altima. The passenger of the Nissan Altima, 22-year-old Alexis DeFrancesco, was transported to Christiana Hospital Trauma Center, where she was pronounced deceased.

Hartford & New Haven, CTPolice investigating a two-car crash at South Main Street and Boulevard in West Hartford on Sunday afternoon said a 17-year-old driver ran a red light and struck a Toyota SUV.
Police said the teen was driving a red Subaru on South Main Street, ran a red light and hit a Toyota Sequoia that was traveling west on Boulevard.
Police said the impact caused the Toyota to roll over and hit a Mercedes that was parked in the lot of 81 South Main Street, shearing off a large traffic control box.
