Authorities are investigating a deadly wreck Thursday morning.
Officials said it all started with a police chase involving a motorcycle. The chase came to an end at Texas 494 Loop and E. Martin Drive around 7:30 a.m.
Police said a Mustang sitting at the intersection was rear ended by the speeding motorcycle. That crash forced the Mustang to spin around and hit a pickup truck facing the opposite direction.
Officials said the man on the motorcycle was tossed from the bike. He died at the scene.
Police believe the motorcycle was stolen.
A motorcyclist died of fatal injuries after he crashed into a concrete curb in southeast Houston early Sunday morning.
Johnny Lopez was driving a 2006 Harley-Davidson with his wife, Rachel Lopez, around 2:30 a.m. He struck the raised concrete curb as he changed lanes from a feeder road to the entrance ramp at the 5600 block of the East Sam Houston Parkway.
Johnny Lopez died at the scene. His wife was not seriously injured.
One man was killed and another was injured Sunday night in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 45 in north Harris County.
The wreck happened about 7 p.m. on the North Freeway near FM 1960, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said no details about the crash were available. The injured man's condition was not released.
A motorcyclist was rushed to an area hospital after crashing into an SUV in northeast Houston.
It happened around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday on Aldine Bender at Aldine Westfield.
Official said the 69-year-old man was riding his motorcycle when he ran a red light and smashed into an SUV.
The man was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition.
Police said no one in the SUV was injured.
