Man Arrested on DUI Charges After Wife Killed in Car Crash

Officials say her husband, Jospeh Piparo, 33, was allegedly driving under the influence  of alcohol when the Silver Dodge Pickup rolled over. The couple'€™s two children, ages 3 and 14 months, walked away with no injuries. Investigators believe Rachelle sustained most of the injuries because of the direction the vehicle rolled. Comments on Rachelle'€™s Facebook page Monday afternoon read, '€œI can'€™t believe this!'€ And, '€œSuch devastating news. She was such a sweet heart!'€ Rachelle'€™s husband, Joseph, was booked in to the El Dorado County Jail on multiple charges, including DUI causing bodily injury, vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and child endangerment.
