Authorities on Monday identified a man killed in a three-car crash on Interstate 20/59 during Saturday night's storms.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Eugene Williams, 61. Several other motorists were also injured.
The crash happened about 11:30 p.m. on I-20/59 westbound between Arkadelphia Road and 20th Street in Ensley. Police said Williams was driving when he collided into the back of another car.

The Birmingham Police Department reports two separate crashes happened just before 1:30pm CT on I-20/59, just east of the Arkadelphia Road overpass.
The BPD says a vehicle clipped the rear of another vehicle while driving on I-20/59 southbound, caused the rear vehicle to lose control, cross the median, and crashed into traffic driving in the northbound lanes.
A total of 5 vehicles were involved, including 3 SUVs, one car, one wrecker, and one 18-wheeler truck.
The Birmingham police and fire departments responded to a multi-vehicle accident on I-20/59 northbound in Ensley about 9:45 p.m.
A total of six vehicles were involved, and four were damaged, according to the Birmingham Fire Department.
One person was transported from the scene, but there were no other injuries.
