Minneapolis-St. Paul, MNA fatal accident happened about 5:50 a.m. Tuesday northwest of Faribault, when a car slid on icy Hwy. 21 into the path of another car heading in the opposite direction. Killed were the driver of the out-of-control car, Abdirahman Abdi, 35, of Noel, Mo., and one of his two passengers, Said I. Abdi, 34, of Kansas City, Mo. Another passenger, Rahma B. Ibrahim, 24, of Schuyler, Neb., was being treated at North Memorial Medical Center for serious injuries. The driver of the other car, Justin T. Francis, 37, of St. Peter, Minn., was not injured. The car from Missouri was heading west on Hwy.

Minneapolis-St. Paul, MNOne person is dead after a car hit two vehicles on Interstate 35 in Fairbault, Minn. Sunday night. Mach Kuel, 39, of Coon Rapids died Sunday after the car he was traveling in hit one vehicle and side-swiped another.

Minneapolis-St. Paul, MNA 21-year-old Clarkston man is dead after his sport utility vehicle struck a tree in Washtenaw County.
Police in Northfield Township, where the crash happened about 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, have not released the man’s name, pending notification of family.
It’s unclear why the man drove off the road, according to Northfield Township Police Lt. Tim Greene.
However, the vehicle appears to have been speeding.

Minneapolis-St. Paul, MNThree college students were killed in a crash with a semi while traveling on an icy road near Northfield Friday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The broadside crash happened on Highway 3 at County Road 47 in Dakota County around 3 p.m.
According to the state patrol, an SUV carrying five college students was northbound on Highway 3 when it spun out and went into the southbound lanes. The semi, which was southbound, hit the vehicle broadside.
