Birmingham, ALLisa Black Gunderson was driving on Finnell Cut-Off Road when for unknown reasons she lost control of her vehicle and struck a tree. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time and was thrown from the vehicle. She died at the scene.

Birmingham, ALGuy Erskine Moseley Jr. was riding an ATV on Chapel Park Court at about 8:30 p.m. on a Sunday when he was involved in a crash that took his life. Few details are available at this time. The force of the crash threw him from the ATV, and he died at the scene. Check back for updates.

Birmingham, ALRobin Hattie Averette was driving on Daffron Road when for unknown reasons her vehicle left the roadway and struck two trees. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time, and was thrown from the vehicle during the crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are still investigating this accident.

Birmingham, ALAlabama State Troopers are investigating a single-car accident that left one man dead and another injured. 24-year-old Jonathan Kelly Sabo was driving a 1996 Chevrolet C1500 in Tuscaloosa County Monday night when he drove off the road and struck an embankment. Sabo, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was partially ejected from the vehicle and accounced deceased at the scene. His passenger, 21-year-old Christopher Garner, was taken to DCH Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. The crash happened around 11 p.m. Monday on Carrollton Road just west of Coker.
