Firefighters rescued the woman by removing the roof of her car, and she was safely removed and had only minor injuries.

Theresa Knutson, 43, from Leavenworth, Kansas, was transported to Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center last Monday after her car crashed about a mile north of White Swan. Knutson was turning off Branch Road onto White Swan Road lost control of her 1996 Lexus, which rolled over but ended up positioned on its wheels. She died at 10:22 p.m. Thursday night at the hospital. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Washington State Patrol.
