Dallas-Ft. Worth, TXExtra psychologists are at William B Travis Academy in Uptown Dallas Wednesday where 13-year-old Ethan Vasquez attended school.
Vasquez was killed Tuesday morning during a hit-and-run crash with a driver trying to elude police. The boy's mother, Sandy Vasquez, was critically injured in the crash and remains hospitalized.
The school Vasquez attended is for academically gifted 4th through 8th graders who have some of the top STAAR test scores in the state.

Ft. Myers-Naples, FLTwo children have serious injuries after crashing their all-terrain vehicle in southwest Florida.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, 9-year-old Angela Wright was driving the ATV when it crashed Sunday afternoon in Lehigh Acres.
Troopers say the ATV flipped over as it approached a telephone pole in a grassy area.
According to a crash report, both the girl and her 16-year-old passenger Kyle Pilgrim were thrown off the ATV in the crash. Troopers say the teenager struck the telephone pole after being ejected, and the ATV struck the 9-year-old after she was thrown off.

Portland-Auburn, METhree people, including a 6-year-old boy, escaped serious injury when the all-terrain vehicle they were on broke through the ice of China Lake.
The operator of the ATV, Lucas Cole of Benton, was trapped in the water for about five minutes and suffered hypothermia and frostbite.
The 25-year-old Cole stated that he went under the water three times before his friend, Donald Cowles, pulled him free.
Cowles threw his 6-year-old nephew to safety first.
All three were treated at the hospital.

Atlanta, GAA DeKalb County 10th grade student severely injured in a car accident over the weekend was taken off of life support on Tuesday. Kaylin Williams, 15, was described by school officials as a model student at Southwest DeKalb High. She had straight As and was poised for an elite cheerleading collegiate scholarship, friends said. Williams was a passenger in a car with two other 10th grade students on Saturday. The trio was returning home in bad weather after a trip to the movies when the car hydroplaned and was t-boned by a truck.
