Mobile, AL-Pensacola, FLMary L. Ramsey, 67, of Mobile was struck by a 2004 Buick Rendezvous driven by Mechelle Nicole Miller, 26, of Theodore, while Ramsey was walking on Airport Boulevard about 2 miles west of Mobile. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Miller, who was not injured in the crash, fled the scene but later returned.

Mobile, AL-Pensacola, FLA female pedestrian died on Sunday after she was hit by two vehicles on McCrary Road just north of Semmes. Around 5:40 p.m., a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Anthony Swann, 28, struck Melissa Chandler, 46, while Chandler was walking on McCrary Road. A second unidentified vehicle also hit Chandler, who was transported to the University of South Alabama Medical Center. She was pronounced deceased. Swann, of Chunchula, was not injured in the collision.

Mobile, AL-Pensacola, FLSpanish Fort man has been released from jail on bond after his arrest in connection with a weekend fatal accident.
Danny Pylant, 57, of the 9600 block of Kingfisher Court, is suspected in an accident that claimed the life of a 44-year-old Tennessee man in Orange Beach, police said.
The victim, later identified as Taylor Colby, 44, was walking near Caribe Resort, 28103 Perdido Beach Blvd., when he was hit Saturday night.

Mobile, AL-Pensacola, FLAn Oklahoma State University student on spring break here was killed this morning after a pickup being driven by a drunken driver hit her, officials said.
Kasey Waychoff, 19, of Flower Mound, Texas, was pronounced dead on arrival at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Foley, Baldwin County Coroner Stan Vinson said.
She was hit about 1:45 a.m. as she walked across the street in the 1400 block of West Beach Boulevard. She was pronounced dead at 2:26 a.m.
