The Florida Highway Patrol was investigating a fatal crash Friday on Interstate 295 northbound at Old St. Augustine Road in Mandarin.
The crash happened just before 11:30 a.m.
All northbound lanes of traffic were blocked and traffic was being rerouted.
The lanes remained closed at 2:10 p.m.
A car chase has ended on Interstate 4 on Thursday afternoon, leading to an arrest of a man believed to be involved in a $1-million jewelry heist.

Authorities responded after a Coca-Cola truck collided with a TriRail train in Pembroke Park Wednesday morning.
The incident happened around 5:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Pembroke Road just west of I-95, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.
The BSO said 120 people were on the train at the time of the collision, but no injuries were reported.
Authorities said the truck had apparently gone too far on the tracks when the gates came down.
The crash closed both directions of Pembroke Road in the area and caused a small oil spill.
A 17-year-old was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Green Cove Springs on Sunday night, according to the Clay County Sheriff's Office.
Destiny Dyal was heading south in the 5700 block of U.S. Highway 17 South just after 9 p.m. when she suddenly drove her car off the roadway to the right, deputies said.
The car continued traveling off the pavement, along the grassy shoulder, and became airborne near a culvert, deputies said. They said it struck several trees in the wooded area east of the roadway.
Dyal was thrown from the car and died.
A fatal pedestrian accident Sunday night along Haverhill Road has led to one arrest, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. Investigators said that 47-year-old Robin Veras was crossing Haverhill Road near Haverhill Court and did not yield to a Toyota 4Runner heading southbound. Veras was struck and killed by the vehicle driven by Orlirio Valenzuela, according to PBSO. Deputies said that Valenzula did not contribute to the fatal wreck, however his blood alcohol level was above the legal limit. Valenzula was arrested by PBSO on DUI charges.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is investigating two deadly crashes Sunday night.
The first happened around 6 p.m. near Australian Avenue and 45th Street. Authorities said a dirt bike traveling south on Australian collided with a pick up truck. The driver of the dirt bike died on scene. The truck driver was not hurt.
