The Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office reported that a crash closed U.S. 231 on Thursday morning. One lane is now open. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office closed U.S. 231 due to a crash at County Line Road between Montgomery and Tippecanoe counties. Montgomery County deputies report a semi truck carrying grain was headed southbound when it crossed the center line and collided with a vehicle traveling northbound.

A four-vehicle crash in Madison County shut down a main roadway Wednesday morning and sent two people to the hospital.

The crash happened on State Road 37 at State Road 128. Police dispatchers in the county say SR 37 was shut down while emergency personnel responded to the scene.

Two people were taken to the hospital after the crash. It wasn’t immediately clear what their conditions were.

Four people were taken to local hospitals early Saturday morning after a vehicle they were in crashed on the city’s west side.

IMPD officials say around 3:30 a.m., the driver of a Ford truck swerved for unknown reasons and hit a tree head-on at 10th Street and Raceway Road, which is near the Marion County/Hendricks County line.

Police say nobody was in critical or serious condition although all four occupants were taken to the hospital. Police were investigating the crash on Saturday

A Lebanon man was injured in a crash near Lafayette Thursday afternoon.

The crash occurred on I-65 southbound near the 174 mile marker.

Officials say a gray 2003 Ford Taurus was southbound on I-65 when it traveled into the left berm. The driver then over corrected , crossed two lanes of traffic, and rolled onto the guardrail.

The driver of the car was extricated from the vehicle and transported to IU Health Arnett Hospital.

A three-vehicle crash – involving a semi – left at least one male injured and closed eastbound lanes of Interstate 80/94 in northwest Indiana early Thursday.

Two vehicles and a semi crashed about 4:20 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-80/94 near Grant Street in Gary, Ind., according to Indiana State Police.

One male, whose age and condition were not immediately known, was injured in the crash, police said.

As of 5:15 a.m., all eastbound lanes of the expressway were still closed, police said.

Indiana State Police are investigating.

An ambulance was called to the scene of an east side crash Thursday morning that involved a vehicle and an IndyGo bus. It happened in the area of 25th Street and East Ralston Avenue. Police say around 7:30 a.m., the bus and a Dodge Charger were both heading westbound on 25th Street. The driver of the Dodge told police he works overnight and was dozing off. Police say the driver hit the back of the bus without braking. The bus was stopped to pick someone up.

A trucker was seriously hurt when four semi trucks collided on Interstate 65 in northwest Indiana Wednesday morning, closing the highway for four hours.

The crash happened just after 9 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-65, about a mile north of the State Route 10 exit, Indiana State Police said.

The driver of a 2006 Volvo semi hauling salt for Summit-based UROL Express failed to see traffic slowing because of a separate crash in front of him, police said.

An Anderson woman was injured Wednesday morning after a snowmobile she was on crashed. Police say the driver was drunk. Indiana conservation officers responded to the 20400 block of Creek Road in Noblesville for a crash around midnight Wednesday. Upon investigation, police say Joel Hackleman, 42, of Noblesville, was driving the snowmobile and drove into a ditch. Hackleman was ejected. His passenger, Rebecca Benson, 32, was over the handlebars of the vehicle. Benson was taken to St. Vincent Hospital for a serious leg injury.

Only minor injuries were reported after a minivan and an Indianapolis Fire Department truck collided Tuesday morning.

The crash happened at West 24th Street and North Meridian Street around 9:15 a.m. According to fire officials, an IFD rescue squad had just finished a run, had its lights off, and was attempting to make a left hand turn to go north on Meridian Street. Two firefighters were on board the truck.

A Martinsville man died as a result of a car crash in Johnson County over the weekend, according to the Johnson County sheriff.

Joseph Carter, 29, drove off the road, over-corrected and hit a tree around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, according to a police report. The crash happened near County roads 600 North and 200 East, which is near Whiteland.

It wasn’t clear what caused the crash. No other vehicles were involved. There was sleet or freezing rain coming down at the time of the incident.
