Police have identified the man killed in a Lancaster County crash early Thursday morning. Curtis Raymond Groff, 21, of Denver Borough, was killed when his pickup ran off Millstone Road in Clay Township, hit a tree and caught fire around 12:30 a.m. Thursday, according to Northern Lancaster County Regional Police. The crash is still under investigation.

John Rineer Jr., 66, killed, after he is struck by a car, while picking up debris that had fallen off his trailer, on State Route 222 near West Earl Township.

A man was killed after being hit by a car on Route 222 in Lancaster County Thursday night. The accident happened around 8:20 p.m. near the Cocalico Creek Bridge. Police said the victim, John Rineer Jr., 66, of Ephrata, got out of his car after something fell off the trailer he was towing. He was struck when he went to pick up the debris. Rineer was taken to Lancaster General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Police said the driver who struck him is a woman from New Jersey. There is no word on whether she will be charged.

74-year-old man killed, after his bicycle is struck by a tractor-trailer, at the intersection of Carlisle Pike and Ridge Hill Road in Silver Spring Township.

A 74-year-old man on a bicycle was struck and killed by a tractor trailer late Wednesday night, according to Silver Spring Township police. The accident occurred at about 11:45 p.m. near the intersection of the Carlisle Pike and Ridge Hill Road, police said. The bicyclist, later identified as Donald Bruce Brown, was pronounced dead at the scenes by the Cumberland County coroner's office. Police said the driver of the tractor trailer, who is from Ohio, stopped at the scene and immediately called 911 for help.

Ralph Brookens, 60, killed, after his motorcycle, traveling at high speed, crashes on Craley Road in Lower Windsor Township.

Police say speed was a factor in a fatal motorcycle crash at 4:40 p.m. on Saturday in the 2700 block of Craley Road in Lower Windsor Township, York County. Investigators say the accident claimed the life of 60-year-old Ralph Brookens of Wrightsville. The York County Deputy Coroner, says, Brookens was traveling at a high rate of speed when his motorcycle went off the road. Brookens died in the ambulance en route to the hospital, according to Goodfellow. Lower Windsor Township Police Department is investigating the crash.

Bonnie Miller, killed, one other person in critical condition, transported to hospital, after a head-on collision between a SUV and a car on Auction Road in Rapho Township.

In Lancaster County, one woman is dead and another remains hospitalized after a crash in Rapho Township. Police say an SUV and car crashed head-on Wednesday in the 1300 block of Auction Road. The driver of the SUV, Bonnie Miller, of Columbia, died at the scene. The other driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Vincent Troupe, 23, killed, after his vehicle overturns on Reading Road in Brecknock Township, and he is ejected from his vehicle.

A Lancaster County man died early this morning following a one-vehicle accident along the 800 block of Reading Road in Brecknock Township, state police said. Troopers found the overturned vehicle of Vincent Troupe, 23, of East Earl, at about 12:30 a.m. in the Black Creek. Troupe's body was also found in the creek, he was not wearing a seatbelt, according to a press release from the state police.

David "Bucky" Carter, killed, after his ultralight aircraft crashes in a field near Edwards Road in Lebanon.

Wilson County Sheriff officials have identified the victim in the deadly ultralight aircraft crash as David "Bucky" Carter, of Nashville. Emergency crews were called around 10:45 a.m. to the scene, Saturday morning. They found the aircraft in the 300 block of Edwards Road, which is right off of Salem Road. 11-year-old boy injured, transported to hospital, after he is struck by a car, on Baltimore and High Street in Gettysburg, that fled the scene.

Police responded to a hit-and-run accident at Baltimore and High streets in Gettysburg on Friday morning.

Authorities say an 11-year-old boy was crossing Baltimore Street shortly after 7 a.m. when he was hit by a car that fled the area.

Witnesses told police the young boy walked into the side of the car that was coming down the street.

Police have an updated description of the vehicle: They say the car is cream-colored or off-white and about the size of a station wagon.

William Nolte, 69, Kristin Hartman, 42, injured, both transported to hospital, after a two-car collision at the intersection of State Route 72 and Spring Hill Lane in Cornwall.

A two-vehicle collision earlier Thursday in Lebanon County sent two people to the hospital and a dog to a veterinarian, according to Cornwall police.

The collision took place at 3:45 p.m. on Route 72 at the intersection with Spring Hill Lane when police said a 2003 BMW station wagon southbound on Route 72 made a left turn onto the Spring Hill Acres development, according to a news release.

The BMW turned into the path of a 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe that was driving north on Route 72, which then struck the BMW.

Shane Myers, 26, Kevin Carr, 46, killed, one other person injured, transported to hospital, after a SUV crosses over the median of southbound I-81 near Carlisle, and crashes into a tractor-trailer.

Two people were killed in a crash on Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 81 near Carlisle, Cumberland County.

The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. near mile marker 47. Police say 26-year-old Shane Myers of Carlisle was driving an SUV southbound on I-81 and crossed over into the median and crashed into a tractor trailer in the northbound lane. The crash killed Myers and the 42-year-old tractor trailer driver, Kevin Carr of Williamstown, Nj.

Police say both drivers died of traumatic injuries and were pronounced dead on the scene.
