Man killed in motorcycle accident in North Hollywood.
An investigation is underway into a fatal crash that closed a busy freeway transition for hours in the North Hollywood area.
The crash happened at approximately 2:45 a.m. Saturday on the eastbound 101 Freeway transition to the eastbound 134 Freeway.
Authorities confirm that a motorcycle was involved in the incident, but it remains unclear how many other vehicles were also involved.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.

Wet roads may have caused a big rig to lose control Wednesday morning and jackknife on the 210 Freeway in Pasadena, blocking traffic.
The big rig was carrying about 16,000 pounds of clothing when the accident occurred at 3:30 a.m. on the westbound 210 Freeway transition where it separates from the westbound 134 Freeway.

A fatal accident involving a big rig and a car forced a major SigAlert on the Hollywood (101) Freeway Thursday morning.
The accident happened around 3:15 a.m. north of the Vineland exit in Studio City, the California Highway Patrol said.
Authorities were investigating a nearby collision when the fatal accident occurred.
The driver of the semi-truck said he was stopped on the freeway when the Lexus rear-ended his vehicle.

A carjacking suspect in Glendale was arrested after crashing the stolen vehicle on the northbound 2 Freeway.
Authorities received a report of a carjacking and shots fired at about 10 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Sinclair Avenue, near the interchange for the 134 and 2 freeways.
Shortly afterward, officials say the suspect crashed the stolen car on the 2 Freeway near Foothill Boulevard. That's when the suspect took off and the freeway came to a halt as police hunted him down.
About an hour later, the man was found near Verdugo Avenue and the 2 Freeway.
Two women and a 12-year-old girl died early Saturday when the minivan they were in hit a concrete wall and flipped, ejecting some of the van's occupants on a Southern California freeway.
Abigail Romero, 19; Abigail Estrella, 37; and Katie Davila, 12, from Lancaster, were killed in the crash reported after midnight on the Arroyo Seco (110) Parkway northbound connector to the Golden State (5) Freeway, Los Angeles County Coroner’s officials said.
