The crash happened at approximately 2:45 a.m. Saturday on the eastbound 101 Freeway transition to the eastbound 134 Freeway.

Authorities confirm that a motorcycle was involved in the incident, but it remains unclear how many other vehicles were also involved.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.

A tanker truck filled with milk flipped off the side of a transition and "barrel-rolled" down and embankment in Glendale before coming to a stop in a wooded area below the interchange.

The crash occurred between the eastbound 134 Freeway and the southbound 2 Freeway around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. The truck was carrying about 2,000 pounds of milk, which flowed down a hill and into a storm drain, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The driver of the truck was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

A fatal accident involving a big rig and a car forced a major SigAlert on the Hollywood (101) Freeway Thursday morning.

The accident happened around 3:15 a.m. north of the Vineland exit in Studio City, the California Highway Patrol said.

Authorities were investigating a nearby collision when the fatal accident occurred.

The driver of the semi-truck said he was stopped on the freeway when the Lexus rear-ended his vehicle.

A 70-year-old Bell Canyon resident died at the scene, officials said.

A big rig crash on the Hollywood (101) Freeway shut down all southbound lanes and snarled traffic for miles, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported about 3 p.m. near Melrose Avenue, CHP officials said.

At least four other cars were involved. Officials said the big rig driver may have fallen asleep.

Lanes were closed between Santa Monica Boulevard and Normandie Avenue. Officials opened one lane about 4 p.m.

One person was killed and two others injured in an underground six-vehicle crash on the eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway in Pasadena early today, and a second motorist was killed on the same freeway less than three hours later, authorities said.

Three big rigs and three other vehicles were involved in the first wreck, said the California Highway Patrol, adding that a 50-year-old man died at the scene.

A motorcyclist was struck and killed in North Hollywood Friday evening, authorities said.

The collision happened shortly after 6 p.m. near Valerio Street and Tujunga Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department North Hollywood Division.

Police initially said the driver of a sedan (pictured below) drove away and the crash may have been a hit-and-run. Later, officers at the scene stated that the crash looks like a "tragic accident" and they are questioning a driver.

Aldzhikyan was ejected from his vehicle after it left the road, struck a lamppost and then a business sign. The car did not have seatbelts. A teenage boy suspected of involvement in the crash was in custody today and facing homicide charges.

Wet roads may have caused a big rig to lose control Wednesday morning and jackknife on the 210 Freeway in Pasadena, blocking traffic.

The big rig was carrying about 16,000 pounds of clothing when the accident occurred at 3:30 a.m. on the westbound 210 Freeway transition where it separates from the westbound 134 Freeway.

No injuries occurred.
