No one expects to be in an accident, and no one expects to witness one.

At Accident Data Center, we know that accident witnesses experience trauma too. After seeing a serious or fatal accident, or trying to help injured victims, a witness can experience intense grief and emotional distress. Accident Data Center provides a place for accident victims, their families, their friends, and witnesses to come together to help each other by sharing information and support. Witnesses so often serve as first responders for CPR and first aid, as key observers of accidents and their causes, and as comfort to injured people. Anyone who has the courage and civic responsibility to step up and help at an accident site should be applauded. We thank you.

Accident Data Center would like to help too.

Sometimes talking about your experience and offering insight into the crash can be a relief.

Providing information about what you saw can be helpful to accident victims, to their families, to their attorneys handling their cases and claims, and to police and law enforcement who are investigating incidents.

Did you witness an accident and have information to share?

  • Do you have information on a hit-and-run crash?
  • Do you have a message for family members of an accident victim?
  • Do you just want to talk about your experience in a supportive environment?

If we already have a page dedicated to the accident you witnessed, please add your story to the comments section of the existing accident page.

If we DO NOT have a page for the accident, please fill out the form below, and we will do our best to publish a new accident page.
