A family is lucky to be alive after the driver of an SUV lost control and slammed into the side of a Northwest Miami-Dade house.
SUV crashes into Northwest Miami-Dade home; driver hospitalized
Witnesses said rescuers pulled the driver from the SUV slumped over and bleeding profusely from his head. He was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.

Fortunately none of the family who were in the house were injured. The driver, however, sustained head injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
