Investigators believe Edward McKeenzie Gray Jr. crashed at around 5:30 a.m. or 6 a.m., but he was not found until someone reported seeing the car in the woods. Police said the crash appears to have been the result of driver error.
Ki Sung Lee was driving northbound on Ridge Road when Marguerite Puls, 73, crossed the centerline and struck Lee's vehicle head-on. Lee was taken to a medical facility where he died of his wounds. Two others were also hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
Hirsh has already been treated and released from the hospital. Hernandez has been arrested on charges of drunken driving, failure to stop, negligent driving and disobeying Maryland's so-called move-over law.
