Jeep driver, 74, crashes into overturned Snapple truck in Wyckoff

A 74-year-old Midland Park man was taken to the hospital after his Jeep crashed into an overturned Snapple truck Wednesday morning, according to Wyckoff police.
David W. Fernandez, 32, lost control of the box truck he was driving while negotiating a curve on Cedar Hill Avenue. The truck was carrying cases of Snapple iced tea when it overturned in front of Feasenmeyer, and the 74 year-old man drove his jeep through the cargo section of the truck. Police are investigating whether speed and possible brake issues led to the crash.
