Adams Street

A 54-year-old Holland man was driving west on Adams Street around 5:30 p.m. when 8-year-old Austin Lotterman ran across the road without looking both ways. The man swerved in an attempt to avoid hitting the boy, but struck him with the passenger side of the vehicle.

At about 2:20pm, Rector was exiting a Mobil gas station onto Adams street, but failed to yield to a westbound car on the road, which struck her car on the driver's side.

Sometime in the evening, a man was hit by a bus on Adams Street and declared dead at the scene of the accident. Details are limited, but we will update this accident as more information is released.

The couple in the other car involved refused medical treatment. The cable company was called but the receptionist said she would not transfer a call for comment on the crash to anyone in the company.
