Carolina Beach Road

According to the Wilmington Police Department, Timothy Leon Nixon, 30, was driving a Nissan Maxima on the 1700 block of Carolina Beach Road when he crossed over the median and struck a utility pole.

At about 1:09am, Woodward was driving an SUV on Carolina Beach Road when she crashed into the back of a sedan that was traveling the same direction. Fox, a passenger in the sedan that was driven by his wife, died as a result of the collision. Woodward now faces numerous charges, including DWI.
