Charles R. Geiwitz Jr., 28, killed, Maranda Bean, 21, critically injured, airlifted to hospital, after their car leaves Furnace Road in Wolcott, and crashes into a utility pole and overturns.

A man died and a woman was airlifted to the hospital at the scene of a one-car crash in Wayne County early Saturday morning. Charles R. Geiwitz Jr., 28, of 6354 East Port Bay Road in Wolcott, was pronounced dead at the scene by Wayne County Coroner Dr. David Hannan.
