Safford Avenue and S. Wayne Avenue

Police are searching for a driver of an SUV that allegedly hit a pedestrian and fled the scene about 11:30 p.m. Friday in the area of Safford Avenue and S. Wayne Avenue. Witnesses told police that the man had been struck by a gray or silver SUV, that did not stop after the crash.
