University Boulevard and Arcola Avenue

81-year-old Ernest Malvin Rounds was struck by 44-year-old Hector Cortes-Nestor at University Boulevard and Arcola Avenue about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday morning while attempting to cross the intersection. Whether or not the pedestrian was in a crosswalk remains under investigation.
