David Bessemeier, 66, dies in plane crash in Longmont, Colorado

Police have identified a man who died after crashing his plane near Longmont Wednesday. David Bessemeier of Loveland died when his plane went down near 109th Avenue. Witnesses reported hearing strange engine noises and seeing parts of the plane fall from the sky before impact.
