A Florence man was killed Thursday afternoon following a single-vehicle crash.
A Florence man, 45-year-old Charles Evans Baskins was killed Thursday around 1:30 p.m. following a single-vehicle crash. The accident happened on Lauderdale County 8, about 10 miles north of Florence when Baskins' his vehicle entered a curve, left the roadway, and hit an embankment. Baskins was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital, he died shortly before 10:30 p.m. Thursday. The incident is still being investigated.
