Nine people were injured in the crash, which witnesses said occurred when a 2015 GMC truck turned left from Whitlow Road, near Trinity, onto Alabama 24. An eastbound Ford van rolled over on the state highway. A witness said the van driver lost control when trying to avoid the truck.
