Investigators say that 73-year old Opal Hester Allen drove off of County Road 81, three miles east of Phil Campbell, then hit a ditch.

State Police investigators say that 73-year old Opal Hester Allen, for unknown reasons, drove off of County Road 81 east of Phil Campbell, then hit a ditch. Allen was pronounced dead at the scene. She was not wearing her seat belt.
