Jackson Co. teen recovering from hunting trip accident

"My step mom called and she said there's been an accident, Austin's been in an accident I said were are we going?" The East Central high school football linebacker was in Citronelle, Alabama for a hunting trip.

St. Martin High students raising money to help burned East Central High student

They are collecting donations to help the family of Kyle Ely, an East Central High student who was severely burned in a campfire accident last Friday. Martin High School students are pitching in to help another student who doesn't even attend their school. Martin students went from classroom to classroom Monday, asking for donations to help the young man's family with travel expenses. The students say they've been through their share of tragedies and know how much the support will mean to Kyle's family and the students at East Central.
