Family and friends seek closure in death of volunteer fireman
Witnesses reported seeing a 2000 to 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe leaving the scene. Troopers said part of the Tahoe’s right, front, bottom bumper came off.
“If anybody knows anything, will y’all just help us so I can quit hurting? I’m hurting enough and my husband is hurting enough,” pleaded John’s mother, Johnnie.
Since motorcycle crashes often end in serious injuries, victims need immediate help
Motorcycle accidents are more likely to end in serious injuries or death for the motorcyclist, since the rider is not protected from the force of a collision. When a motorcycle accident happens, the injured rider needs immediate, appropriate medical care, the accident needs to be investigated, and the insurance companies need to be informed.
When a motorcycle crash is caused by negligence, additional steps need to be taken to protect the legal rights of the injured motorcyclist or the family members of someone killed in a motorcycle crash. Go here to learn more about motorcycle accidents and claims.
