Mobile Police have identified the 65-year old pedestrian struck by a vehicle Saturday as Tanzy Lee Huff. Officials say Huff was struck by driver, as he was walking northbound in the southbound lane at the intersection of Summerville Street and General Gorgas Drive.
Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck by Vehicle Identified
Police say 65-year-old Tanzy Huff was walking north in the southbound lane when he was hit. He later died in a hospital.
Preliminary investigation revealed the 65-year-old male victim was walking northbound in the southbound lane when he was struck. The driver stopped and is fully cooperating with Law Enforcement. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. No criminal charges are pending against the driver.
