Identities in Friday night fatal crash on I-85 released

Linares and the 16-month-old child were passengers in a 2001 Toyota Sienna. Linares was not wearing a seat belt, but the child was in a child-restraint system.

The complaint alleges the tractor-trailer, driven by Wooden Products/Ryder employee Ronnie Slayton, failed to observe the slowed and stopping traffic, slamming into the Toyota Sienna van at a speed of approximately 70 miles per hour.
