A 19-year-old Garberville man was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI and hospitalized today after the car he was driving crashed near Ferndale. A passenger in the vehicle was also sent to the hospital with major injuries.
A 19-year-old Garberville man was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI and hospitalized today after the car he was driving crashed near Ferndale. A passenger in the vehicle was also sent to the hospital with major injuries.
Wescott was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI after he lost control of a car he was driving and struck bushes, an unoccupied parked vehicle in a driveway, and an unoccupied house. Zachary Ryan Farroux, 16, was a passenger in the car and was not wearing a seat belt.
Both Wescott and Farroux suffered major injuries and were taken to Redwood Memorial Hospital for treatment. An update on their condition was not available today.
