Police: Texting driver hits man on Alhambra street
Police said a driver was texting when she struck and critically injured a man who was getting into his sport utility vehicle Thursday.

A man was hit while trying to get into his sport utility vehicle. The man landed on the hood and windshield of the car that hit him and then fell off, suffering head injuries. He was later taken to a trauma center. The driver stopped. She later admitted she was texting while driving.
