2 killed, driver arrested in suspected DUI crash in Arleta

A suspected drunk driver who police say caused a Los Angeles crash that left two people dead could face murder charges. Police say 41-year-old Arsen Panasian crashed his Chevy Astro van into the side of a Toyota Camry late Saturday at an intersection in Arleta. City News Service says the Van Nuys resident was taken from the scene in an ambulance and arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder. The driver and the passenger died at the scene. The force of the collision caused the Camry to spin off the road.
