A driver killed Friday night after he smashed his car into a home in a gated Orange County community was identified as a 22-year-old Trabuco Canyon man, authorities said.

A young man was killed Friday night when his vehicle crashed into a house in the private Orange County community of Coco de Caza.
The driver, identified later as Franz Nazelny, a 22-year-old resident of Coto de Caza, lost control on Cherry Hills Drive, near Vista Del Verde.
Authorities said his vehicle hit the curb, became airborne and crashed into a wall on the side of a house.
A mother and her two children, ages 3 and 6, were inside the house, but they were not injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation
