Corona Police Respond To Deadly Collision Involving Vehicle And Pedestrian
Officers dispatched to the location found Timothy Herrera, a 36-year-old Montebello man, lying deceased at the intersection of Sixth Street and Smith Street.
Authorities located a gray Toyota Corolla — with collision damage — being driven by Hugo Guzman, 36, of Buena Park.

A news release issued Sunday by the Corona Police Department initially misidentified Herrera as the deceased pedestrian and Guzman as the driver, Mercado confirmed.
