Teen Girl Killed in San Bernardino Hit-and-Run Crash

Two men, identified by police as Martin Mosby 23, and David Brass, 24, allegedly fled the area after the crash. Witnesses helped officers in locate the men, who were found about 1 mile from the crash scene, officials said.

Samantha Tarabay, 13, was killed in a hit-and-run crash in San Bernardino Friday, July 11, 2014. A hit-and-run crash left a 13-year-old girl dead Friday night after the vehicle she was in was broadsided in San Bernardino, officials said. The crash near Arrowhead and Rialto avenues was reported around 9 p.m., according to a news release from the San Bernardino Police Department. Samantha Tarabay, along with two siblings, were traveling eastbound on Rialto Avenue in a silver Acura Integra when it was struck by a green Kia passing through Arrowhead Avenue, police said. Tarabay was killed in the crash. Two men, identified by police as Martin Mosby 23, and David Brass, 24, allegedly fled the area after the crash. Witnesses helped officers in locate the men, who were found about 1 mile from the crash scene, officials said. The condition of Tarabay’s siblings were unknown.
