Driver dies after traffic collision in Borrego Springs

 A 70-year-old man was killed Tuesday in a traffic collision in Borrego Springs, the California Highway Patrol said. 

Borrego Springs man ID'd in fatal crash

Authorities have identified Jack Bailey Godwin as the motorist who died in a collision in Borrego Springs on Tuesday.
A 70-year-old Borrego Springs man was driving a Toyota on Big Horn Road about 2:50 p.m. when he failed to yield at the intersection of Borrego Springs Road. His vehicle crashed into a Jeep Grand Cherokee and rolled over. The Jeep driver, a 66-year-old Borrego Springs woman, sustained minor injuries. The deceased victim's name is not yet released.
