Traffic Signal Box Hit in La Jolla Causing Heavy Traffic

A traffic signal box hit in a car collision is causing heavy traffic in La Jolla, San Diego police said. Traffic lights are out in the area and as a result, traffic is heavy in the area. Friday at Hidden Valley Road and Torrey Pines Road, police and fire officials said. The collision happened at approximately 1:40 p.m. Two patients were taken to area hospitals.
