A 65-year-old man crossing a street in the Midway District was struck by a vehicle and killed Tuesday evening, police said. The man was walking on Sports Arena Boulevard, trying to cross at Midway Drive about 7 p.m., when he was hit. He was in the south crosswalk, police said.
