Pedestrian struck and killed by a car on Interstate 5 in San Ysidro, California

The pedestrian was walking across traffic lanes on northbound Interstate 5, south of Dairy Mart Road, about 3:15 a.m. and was struck by a Mitsubishi Endeavor, said CHP Officer Salvador Castro. The pedestrian died at the scene. The victim has not yet been identified, and no further information was released.
