According to the FAA, the pilot of a Beechcraft Bonanza missed the approach at Angwin Airport-Parrett Field around 8:40 a.m. The plane clipped trees and crashed south of the airport.
UPDATE: 3 People Killed in Napa County Small Plane Crash Friday Identified
The Napa County Coroner’s Office identified the victims as 73-year-old Murrieta resident Robert Nicholas, who was piloting the plane, and two visitors from Arlington, Virginia, who were passengers, Shauna and James Waite, both 37 years old.
