Multi-vehicle injury accident shuts down N880 connector ramp to Bay Bridge

A traffic alert has been issued this morning for the northbound Interstate Highway 880 connector to the Bay Bridge in Oakland after 12 vehicles collided including two box trucks, a California Highway Patrol officer said.CHP officials issued the alert at 9:53 a.m. and two lanes are blocked in the collision. Two minor injuries have been reported.The first report of the collision came in at 9:35 a.m. and the fire department is at the collision site, Anderson said.

Oakland: One person trapped in multiple-vehicle crash on I-880 ramp to Bay Bridge

A traffic alert has been issued Friday morning for the northbound Interstate Highway 880 connector to the Bay Bridge in Oakland after 12 vehicles collided including two box trucks, a California Highway Patrol officer said. CHP officials issued the alert at 9:53 a.m. and two lanes are blocked in the collision that has one person trapped as one truck is on top of another, CHP Officer Eric Anderson said. ​
