San Francisco: Former Pittsburg High football player among 3 dead in fiery crash

A crash near the NFL's Super Bowl City in San Francisco on Saturday night claimed the life of at least one former football player. Friends of Zanie told ABC7 that he was driving the car. A family member told ABC7 News that the three attended the festivities earlier in the evening. Gene Mollique, 27, of Bay Point, was one of two East Bay victims identified by the San Francisco Medical Examiner's Office on Monday. Mollique played football at Pittsburg High, and made three tackles as a defensive back during his senior year in 2007, according to statistics on maxpreps.com.
